Description

The Janome MOD-8933 Serger is a compact, portable machine capable of 3 and 4-thread serging. Ideal for fashion apparel sewing, the MOD-8933 Serger features color-coded threading guides, adjustable cutting width, and quick change rolled hemming. At just 14.3 pounds, the MOD-Serger can be taken with you to sewing classes and alterations. Adjustable presser foot pressure ensures consistent stitching no matter the thickness of your materials. This model is also referred to as the 8933D.

Features:

3 and 4 Thread Convertible:
Create professional rolled hems, picot edging, and narrow hems, as well as decorative overedging, pin tucking, and gathering with the MOD-8933. The included instruction manual takes you through the threading process for each stitch.

Color Coded Threading:
Located just inside the machine s front cover is a color-coded threading chart. This convenient chart takes you step-by-step through the threading process.

Quick Rolled Hemming:
Easily move between regular serging and rolled hemming without changing the needle plate! Create professional hems on your homemade apparel.

Adjustable Foot Pressure:
The ability to adjust your presser foot pressure for various fabric types is a must-have feature. Whether you are serging fleece or sheer fabric, you can achieve professional-looking stitches.

Differential Feed:
With a differential feed ratio of 0.5mm to 2.25mm, you can eliminate puckering and stretching of fabrics during the serging process.

Retractable Upper Knife:
The upper knife is not necessary for all stitches. Easily retract the upper knife to create beautiful decorative stitches without trimming.
